A Trip to the MOTAT
On Wednesday the 13th of May the students from Room 9,10 and 7 went by bus to the Motat to learn about the things that soldiers used in world war one.
When we arrived at the Motat, an educator welcomed us. Then we had morning tea. After that the educator took us to see the types of things that the soldiers used in wars. We saw morse codes and messenger pigeons, Fuller Phone, a Heliographs and a semaphone.
Then we went on the tram ride and the driver told us some things about the trams and how they worked. After we had our tram ride, our parent helper took us on a guided tour to where we wanted to go. Then we went to the activity room and the earthquake cafe. It was funny because someone fell of the earthquake cafe.
After that Moses thanked the educator and Katherine. Finally we were on the bus for the journey back to school. I really enjoyed the trip and learned a lot about the wars.

Well done Stephen. It seems you really enjoyed at the MOTAT. I really want to know more about the phones they used during the World Wars.
