  • Waves are a product from the wind.
  • Wind on the surface ocean can create some of the best waves.(on earth)
  • Offshore winds act as a sort of a counterbalance.
  • Large waves move quickly
  • Short period waves are smaller and less energetic.

Complication to the problem
Mum could not give up smoking even though she tried many different routines.
How the problem was solved?

The problem was solved when mum rang the helpline for help and they advised her what to do to give up smoking.
How did I feel about it.

I felt happy that mum stopped smoking and tried different routines to give up smoking.

3.Low pressure systems are responsible for creating good and strong waves.
4.Created by wind, and influenced along the way by changes in seafloor topography, rainfall, tides, coastal backwash, currents and local winds, waves are a complex result of an amazing array of meteorological and geological variables
5.In deep low-pressure systems, wind speed is greater and more waves are generated by the power of the gusts.
